Let's see, some things about me... The name is Amanda. I'm a 20-something wife & mother among many other titles. I live in the bitter north- well, northeastern Ohio, but it's still pretty cold here!
My little family includes: my angel baby, N- stillborn January 2008 when I was 31 weeks pregnant. You can read more about her story here. However 2008 wasn't all bad... In February I got a message from some random dude on Myspace. & then in April the random dude proposed to me. The random dude is now the hubbs, Travis. We tied the knot in October 2008. I know- fast, right? Which is how my stepson, C, age 4 1/2, came into the picture. He's going through the terrible 4's now. *hehe* Then on February 16th, 2009- exactly a year since the hubbs & I met- I found out I was pregnant! Madi was born on October 21st, 2009 & our little family is complete- for now! Oops... I almost forgot our furbabies. We adopted Gunther & Gizmo in October 2008.
How did you decide on the name for the blog you ask? My middle name is Sue & my childhood nickname was Susie. My "career" for now is a SAHM so Susie Homemaker... Easy peasy! :)
My goal is for this blog to be about the three c's- cooking, crafts, and couponing with a little bit of everyday life mixed in for good measure. All of which I hope to improve upon this year- New Years Resolution, maybe?
